The list on the board out the front
There is a black sign bolted to the front of the shop. It says batteries, road hazard warranty, quad bike tyres, truck tyres, agriculture tyres. That is the whole business in five lines, so here it is properly.

We will keep you moving during harvest
When the header is running there is no such thing as a convenient time to shred a tyre. So through harvest there is an after hours number, and it goes to Paul.

The Condobolin Argus has run the after hours service two harvests running, in 2024 and again in 2025, under the line “we will keep you moving during harvest”.
Why it matters out here
- Condobolin sits in cropping and grazing country, and the nearest alternative is a long way up the road.
- Agriculture tyres are the biggest thing through the workshop, which is why there is a forklift and a yard full of tractor rubber.
- Travellers get looked after too. One reviewer was 2400km into a trip when the team sorted his truck straight away.

Somebody who knows which tyre you actually want
The front office has a wall of pattern boards behind the counter, so a conversation about what suits your ute, your truck or your tractor can happen with the thing in front of you rather than from a catalogue.
Sarah and Paul took the business on in late 2021, and there are six family and local staff between the office and the workshop. It is the kind of counter where somebody will order a specialised battery in for you and then run you back to your vehicle while you wait.

We needed a specialised battery for our tow car, the lady in the office ordered 1 in and even gave us a lift to our motorhome, highly recommended.
Dropped in with a slight issue, and asked for wheels to be rotated on truck. Great service by the team there, helping us straight away on our 2400km journey.
